Woman Dies Unexpectedly While Testifying In Church
A 55-year-old woman, simply identified as Ifeoma, has tragically collapsed and passed away while giving testimony at her church.
The incident occurred during a service in Ejigbo, Lagos State, on Sunday.
The Lagos state police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin confirmed the event to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Wednesday.
“The church accountant reported that Ifeoma was singing while giving her testimony when she suddenly collapsed.
“She was promptly taken to a nearby hospital and later referred to an Isolo facility, where she was pronounced dead.”
Hundeyin also noted that when police arrived at the hospital, they learned that Ifeoma’s body had been taken by her family to their hometown in Anambra State for burial.
Meanwhile, the church where the incident took place has not been disclosed in the report.
