Ucheibe Secures Spot In Portuguese Women’s League Team Of The Season
Super Falcons midfielder Christy Ucheibe has earned a place in the Portuguese Women’s League Team of the Season for 2023/24.
Ucheibe was instrumental in Benfica’s triumphant season, which saw them claim all four domestic titles in Portugal: Campeonato Nacional, Taça de Portugal, Taça da Liga, and Campeonato Nacional II Divisão.
In addition to Ucheibe, six other Benfica players were named, including Lúcia Alves, Andreia Faria, Beatriz Cameirão, Andreia Norton, and Kika Nazareth.
Ucheibe shared her excitement on social media, stating, “BEST 11 BPI LEAGUE 2023/2024 PORTUGAL! ALL GLORY TO GOD. THANK YOU BENFICA ❤️,” on X.
