The Council of Chiefs, IPU West Autonomous Community (Owaza/Umudobia Ancient Kingdom) in Ukwa West Local Government Area of Abia State, most regrettably announce the shocking and painful death of their paramount Monarch, HRM Eze Young Nwokoru Ogbonna (JP) whose death occurred on Monday, the 15th day of March, 2021 during a brief illness.
A release jointly endorsed by the Chairman, Council of Chiefs, Ezeji Chief Samuel I. Nwogu, Vice Chairman, Chief Sir Christopher Eletuo and Secretary, Mr Simeon N. Nwambu says burial date and arrangements will be announced by the royal family and council of Chiefs.
Late Eze Young N. Ogbonna is survived by wives, children, grandchildren and a host of other relations including Rev. Ambassador Dr. Lucky Eleogu and Mr Philemon Ogbonna.
May God grant his soul eternal rest in his bosom as well as give the bereaved family the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss.
