Morgan Bets £10,000 On Ten Hag’s Failure To Secure UCL, EPL Title At Man-United
Renowned English broadcaster, Piers Morgan has placed a £10,000 bet on Erik ten Hag failing to win either the Champions League or the Premier League during his tenure at Manchester United.
Morgan’s bet follows his criticism of Ten Hag’s reaction to Cristiano Ronaldo’s comments about the manager’s mindset.
Ronaldo, who left Manchester United for Al Nassr in 2022 after several high-profile disputes with Ten Hag, recently criticized Ten Hag’s leadership on the Rio Ferdinand Presents podcast.
Ronaldo contends that Ten Hag should avoid publicly admitting Manchester United’s struggles to compete for top titles, regardless of their reality.
In response, Ten Hag dismissed Ronaldo’s remarks, attributing them to the former player’s detachment from the club’s current situation in Saudi Arabia.
Morgan, a prominent supporter of Ronaldo, took to X to state: “Ronaldo achieved 3 Premier League titles and a Champions League at United.
I’ll wager Ten Hag £10,000 to charity that he won’t win either title during his time at the club.”
