The remains of Late Elder Innocent Morgan Okoro has been laid to rest at his hometown, Umunwada Ndiokwu Amuzi Community in Obowo LGA of Imo State.

Preaching on the topic “Man who are you” during the funeral service held at Uhunokwu Primary School Field, Ikenanzizi Obowo, The Rev. Success Ekeledo of the United Church of Christ International said man is suffering on earth because of disobedience to the word of God and reminded the living that death remains a price which every mortal must pay.

In a funeral oration, the first Son of the diseased, Chibuzo Okoro, described their late father as a man whose meekness, ingenuity, and unassuming life attracted people’s love and affection for him and noted that they will miss his deep sense of responsibility in handling complex matters.

In his condolence message, an in-law to the deceased and Traditional Ruler of Umuosocha Umuokeh Autonomous Community in Obowo LGA, Imo State, Eze Charles Chiedozie Obasi, wondered why death would snatch him away at this moment assuring that his legacies will remain evergreen and thanked all who came to condole with the family.

Late Elder Innocent Morgan Okoro who died at the age of 64, is survived by his wife, the Rev. Mrs Chizoba Okoro, three children, Brothers, Sisters and a host of other relatives.

The burial ceremony attracted the presence of top government officials, members of Enyimba Social Club USA, Peoples Club of Nigeria International USA, Friends and well Wishers of the family.
