HANDOVER: Comr Francis Nwaubani Assumes Duty As Acting DG BCA
UMUAHIA – The out-gone Acting Director General of the Broadcasting Corporation of Abia State, Mrs Esther Agu-Anyanwu has formally handed over to Comrade Francis Nwaubani whose appointment as the New Acting DG BCA was on Wednesday approved by the Governor Alex Otti.
Speaking while handing over to the New Acting Director of BCA, Mrs Esther Agu-Anyanwu, thanked the Management and Staff of the BCA for the support given to her and urged them to extend same to the new Acting DG BCA whom she described as a vibrant young man.
Mrs Agu-Anyanwu expressed happiness that she is retiring in good health, attributing it to the grace of God.
In their Speeches, the Director of News and Current Affairs Department, Mr Ehirodo Ihediwa, the Director of Commercial Services, Mr Jonathan Nwosu, and the Director of Finance, Mrs Blessing Goddy-Eze commended the out-gone Acting DG BCA, Mrs Esther Agu-Anyanwu for her peaceful disposition to issues and the impact she made during her stay in office.
Also Speaking, the Acting Director of Administration Department BCA, Mrs Joy Ashiegbu and Head Corporate Affairs Unit BCA, Adaeze Iroegbu urged the New Acting Director General BCA, Comrade Francis Nwaubani to embrace everyone, while carrying out his duties of moving the Corporation forward and assured him of the support of the Management and Staff of the Corporation.
Responding, the New Acting Director General BCA, Comrade Francis Nwaubani thanked Governor Alex Otti for the opportunity given to him to pilot the affairs of the Corporation, and solicited the support of the Management and Staff of the BCA towards moving the Corporation forward.
Comrade Nwaubani disclosed that the present administration has good plans towards equipping the BCA and urged staff of the corporation to continue to conduct themselves professionally as well as ensure they discharge their duties more effectively.
Crystal News correspondent reports that highlight of the event was the signing of the handover papers while the BCA radio has returned back on air barely 24hours after Comrade Nwaubani assumed duties.
