Governor Okezie Ikpeazu has formally presented Eight brand new Toyota Fortuner Jeeps to eight Judges in the state to aide quick dispensation of Justice in the state.
Speaking while presenting the keys of the vehicles to the benefitting Judges at government House umuahia, Governor Ikpeazu described the judiciary as integral and dependable arm of government.
The Governor who thanked the judges for their supports to his administration, noted that the vehicles will serve as hope to those who are yet to benefit, pointing out that his government has benefited a lot from the judiciary.
Receiving the keys of the vehicles from the Governor, the Chief Judge of the state, Justice Onuoha Ogwe thanked Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for the show of love on the judicial arm of the state and thanked God for restoring the Governor’s Health.
Justice Ogwe while also commending the Governor for fulfilling his promise to the Judges, assured that they will continue partnering the state government in the task of Governance.
Our government House correspondent Ezechukwu Adimoha reports that the deputy Governor Sir Ude Okochukwu, the President Customary Court of Appeal Justice Anyalewechi Onwuchekwa, the Attorney General and commissioner for Justice Chief Uche Ihediwa, HOS Sir Onyii Wamah, Chief of staff to the Governor Dr ACB Agbazuere among other government functioneries witnessed the hand over ceremony.
