Gov. Ikpeazu Approves The Distribution Of 5th Round Of Food Palliatives To Vulnerable Persons
Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu, has directed the distribution of 5th round of food palliatives through local governments to vulnerable persons in various communities.
The relevant Transition Council Chairmen are hereby invited to visit the Food Bank located at the Office of the Wife of Governor, Government House, Umuahia, as follows:

Others invited to also visit the food warehouse to collect palliatives on any of the above dates are:
A. Members of Joint National Association of Persons Living with Disabilities (JONAPWD) who will be represented by the State Chairman, Comrd Stanley Onyebuchi.
B. Orphanages in the State which will also collect palliatives through the Honorable Commissioner for Women Affairs, Mrs Ukachi Amala.
Governor Ikpeazu further directs Transition Council Chairmen to endeavor to emphasize distribution of this round of palliatives through recognized women groups in our communities while the Secretary to State Government, Barr Chris Ezem, is to monitor compliance.
