The Chief of Staff to the Abia State Governor, Associate Professor A.C.B Agbazuere has condoled with the Enweremadu family over the demise of their father, the traditional head of Ngwaland and Ezeukwu of Ngwa Ukwu, Eze Dr Bernard Enweremadu.
Speaking when he led the Management of Government House Umuahia on a condolence visit to the bereaved royal family at Ngwa Ukwu in Isialangwa North LGA, Associate Professor Agbazuere described the late Eze Ukwu of Ngwa Ukwu as a great iroko, the symbol and pride of Ngwaland who left indelible footprints in the traditional institution disclosed that his death is a great loss to Ukwa Ngwa nation, the state and country at large.
The Chief of Staff to the Governor further pointed out that the death of Eze Enweremadu is a colossal loss to Ukwa Ngwa people, reiterating that the deceased is a good man who fought for the course and development of the Ukwa Ngwa nation, also urged the bereaved family to remain united in love as well as continue to uphold the lasting legacies he left behind.
Responding, the Eldest son of the traditional Ruler, Prince Christopher Enweremadu recalled that his late father, Eze Bernard Enweremadu who passed on on the 17th of this month at the age of 77years became a traditional Ruler at the age of 33, and ran a good race as well as left legacies.
Prince Enweremadu further thanked the state Governor, Dr Okezie lkpeazu for his support to the royal family and assured the commitment of the family in sustaining the good legacy left by the renowned traditional Ruler and embodiments of culture and tradition of Ngwaland.
The visit featured the signing of condolence register by the Chief of Staff to the Governor.
