Dr Ukaegbu Receives DAG Industries Limited Team, Says Abia Is Open To Investors
The Abia State Commissioner for Transport, Dr. Chimezie Ukaegbu, says the present administration is open for investors to come and invest in the state.
Dr Ukaegbu who was speaking when he received a team from the DAG Industries Limited, makers of Bajaj Tricycle in his office said that the Dr. Otti-led administration is committed to establishing a robust transport system.
The Commissioner assured the team that he would take up their proposal of floating a CNG Tricycle in the state to the Governor who is investor friendly and desirous of enhancing the development of the state.
The Transport Commissioner who described a good transport system as critical for development, pointed out that government will soon unfold its visions for the transport sector.
Speaking earlier, the Chief Executive Officer, DAG Industries Mr. Vijaj Bhatt said they came to inform the Commissioner of the Company’s plans to float the state CNG Tricycle which he said is economical as part of efforts to support the state government’s plans for a robust transport system.
