Asphalting Of Osisioma Flyover To Commence Between Now And The Next Six Weeks – Gov. Ikpeazu

The Governor of Abia State, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has assured that the asphalting of the Osisioma flyover will commence between now and the next six weeks.

Governor Ikpeazu stated this while addressing an enlarged gathering of Abians and residents of Aba at the flyover during the statewide Project inspection tagged”Kinetic Abia Project tour” regretted the inconveniences caused road users in Aba in the cause of the work, adding, however that he believes in rendering quality job for the people.

Dr Ikpeazu who disclosed that the federal government has not contributed a dine in all the road Projects being Executed by his administration in Aba the commercial nerve Center, noted that prior to his assumption of office as Governor, there was no access to Faulks,Ariaria and other major markets.

Also Speaking while inspecting the 1.2km Nwaobasi Estate road, the Governor assured the people that the road project will be ready for Commissioning between now and the next six weeks.

Governor Ikpeazu said that he was aware of the sufferings the people have gone through over the years on account of the diplorable nature of the road, pointing out that the essence of Government is to improve the welfare and living standard of all.

While promising to donate a 33KVA Transformer  for the use of residents of the area, implored them to come out enmass to vote for the PDP candidate Mr Chimaobi Ebisike in the Saturday Aba federal constituency bye election.

In their responses, the spokes persons of the area, Chief Israel Afonne and Mrs Ezinne Nwaobasi thanked the  Governor for coming to their aide and assured of their support for the PDP in the Saturday bye election.
