Abia Traditional Rulers Council promises to partner government in maintaining peace
The State Chairman, Abia State Traditional Rulers Council, Eze Linus Ntoh Mbah says the Traditional Rulers in the State are committed to working with government to sustain the existing peace.
Eze Mbah who stated this shortly after the Traditional Rulers Stakeholders Meeting in Umuahia, noted that the essence of the meeting was to discuss the challenges facing different communities through their traditional rulers as well as brainstorm on how to tackle them.
He commended the Governor, Dr Alex Otti for hosting the South East Traditional Rulers meeting, held in the State, adding that his commitment to the welfare of Ndi Eze contributed to the existing peace and assured that they will continue to support his administration.
The State Traditional Rulers Council Chairman who doubles as the Traditional Ruler of Umuzomgbo Ihechiowa, stressed that the recent flagged off Ohafia – Arochukwu road has shown the Governor’s commitment to grassroots development and called on him to sustain his infrastructural mission which will help to elevate the State from where it used to be.
