Abia To Partner Relevant Organizations To Improve The State Transport System – Dr Ukaegbu
Abia State Government says it will continue to partner organizations with good visions to improve the state transport system.
The state commissioner for Transport, Dr Chimezie Ukaegbu who stated this when a delegation from Hardweb Solutions Limited which specializes in the electronic collection of transport fares visited him, disclosed that the state government will soon unfold its vision for the state transport sector.
Dr Ukaegbu explained that the present administration has keyed into a single treasurer system in the collection of its revenue.
The Commissioner explained that Abia is now a safe haven for businesses courtesy of the Governor, and promised to take their proposals to the Governor for consideration.
Speaking, the spokesperson of Hardweb Solutions, Mr. Oluomachi Ibrahim said that the company specializes in digital card payment and smart card mobile application collection of transport fares at Motor Parks for traveling passengers that are seamless and guarantee transparency.
