Today, It’s no longer news that construction of 11.4km Umuikaa -Umuene road has commenced in earnest.
The aforementioned road which was in a dilapidated state is now wearing a new look as the caterpillar revolution of the Dr Ikpeazu’s administration has commenced full construction of work on the road under the supervision of the honourable commissioner for works, Barr Bob Chiedozie Ogu.
The road which is been constructed by Smuth-Edge construction company, when completed will ease the sufferings of the people of Isiala Ngwa South who find it difficult to access their council headquarters at Omoba from Umuikaa.
It will be recalled that the Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has already constructed the Umuene -Obikabia road in Ogbor Hill.
