The Chief of Staff to the Abia State Governor, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere has charged members of the Nigeria Labour Congress to maintain good comradship and show more concern to their colleagues in the labour movement.
Dr Agbazuere who gave the charge while hosting a banquet for the national and state body of Nigeria Labour Congress in Nigeria in Umuahia who were in the state for the burial of the husband of their colleague and Vice President of the Union, Comrade (Mrs.) Mercy Okezie thanked them for their show of solidarity and love to the Abia daughter and national officer of the union during her moment of grief.
Earlier in their speeches, the National General Secretary NLC, Comrade Emmanuel Ugboaja, the Deputy Chairperson National Women Commission, Salamatu Aliu, the state NLC Chairman, Comrade Uchenna Obigwe among others lauded Governor Okezie Ikpeazu for appointing their member, Dr A.C.B Agbazuere as his Chief of Staff and for the warm reception accorded the national body of the union in the State.
Correspondent Ugochukwu Ahuchogu reports that the Permanent Secretary Government House Umuahia, Mr Alozie Odoemelam among other top government officials were present during the event.
