The Governor who gave the charge during an Interactive Get-together with the body of Special Advisers in Government House Umuahia, disclosed that from 2015 till date, antenatal services in all the primary health care centres in Abia State have been attending to the pregnant women free of charge.
He also highlighted his achievements in education, infrastructure, SME among others, saying that the achievements are enough to be proud of.
Dr. Ikpeazu, who streessed the need for the Advisers to align themselves with the policies of his administration as well as always study the annual budget so as to advice him properly and submit their proposals accordingly, said he was ready to work with each of his Special Advisers that continuous to show resilience and commitment to his job.
He thanked them for their commitment and desire to be part of his efforts in leaving Abia better than he met it.
Earlier, the Chairman, Body of Special Advisers to the Governor, Chief Collins Nwakanma said the Special Advisers were proud to be associated with the administrative policies of Governor Ikpeazu, especially his giant strides in areas such as infrastructure, education, SME and others.
He urged the Governor to continue with his good works, requesting him to make the interactive meeting a regular thing while assuring the continuous propagation of the achievements of the present administration to the LGAs.
Highlights of the event was presentation of a complimentary award to the Governor by the Special Advisers.
