Abians have been assured of a new transportation narrative that will be of immense benefit to all citizenry.
Governor Okezie Ikpeazu who gave the assurance after receiving the Report Of The Committee On Formation of The Abia State Transport Policy at the Government House Umuahia, noted that report of the Committee made up of people of integrity and wisdom will be studied and put into effective use as a reference point in the transport industry.
The Governor represented by his Deputy, Sir Ude Oko Chukwu lauded the Committee for their diligence and sacrifice in doing the task assigned to them and urged them to always make themselves available whenever Government wants them to do any job.
Earlier in her speech ,the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Transport and Co- Chairman of the Committee On Formation Of Abia State Transport Policy, Deaconess Ijeoma Clara Okere said that they were inaugurated last January and that they worked assiduously to bring out the Transport Policy that will be a work guide to all concerned as it reflects the mind of all stakeholders.
