BURIAL OF OSINACHI NWACHUKWU: Gov. Ikpeazu Mourns, Condoles Family

The Abia State Governor, Dr Okezie Ikpeazu has condoled with the family of Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu of  Umuokoro Egbelu Etiti, Eziama Ntigha, in Isiala Ngwa North LGA, over the death of their sister, Osinachi Stephanie Nwachukwu.

In his condolence message during a funeral mass organized in honour of the deceased at the Sanctuary of Mary Immaculate, Eziama Ntigha, Gov. Ikpeazu described the news of the death of late Osinachi Stephanie Nwachukwu as not just shocking but painful considering her young age.

The Governor, represented by his Chief of Staff, Chief Okey  Ahiwe, while describing death as a necessary end for all mortals irrespective of age, gender and status, further  urged the bereaved family to accept her demise as the will of God and prayed God to grant them the fortitude to bear the irreparable loss. 

In a homily, the elder brother of the deceased and representative of the Holy See to the European Office of the United Nations and Specialized Institutions in Geneva, Archbishop Fortunatus Nwachukwu,  called on all to re-examine their lives, pointing out that a day of judgement is coming when all mortals will give account of their stewardship on earth.

In a tribute, the eldest brother of the deceased and a PDP chieftain in the state, Chief Fidelis Nwachukwu while describing his late younger sister as a gentle, peaceful and easy-going young lady who dedicated her brief stay on earth to the service of God and humanity, also thanked Gov. Ikpeazu, the PDP flag bearers for Abia Central Senatorial District, Col. Austin Akobundu (rtd), and Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal Constituency, Prof. A.C.B Agbazuere, and that came to commiserate with his family.
