It was a glorious moment for the Chairman of Umunneochi L.G.A, of Abia State, Chief Ifeanyi Madu as friends, political associates and well wishers gathered to celebrate his birthday anniversary.
Those who gathered at the Umuahia residence of Sen. Mao Ohuabunwa, venue of the birthday party Sunday evening include: the Deputy Speaker and Member representing Ohafia South State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Ifeanyi Uchendu; Commissioner for Homeland security, Hon. Sopuruchi Beke and the Executive Chairman of Bende LGA, Chief Emmanuel Onwuchekwa.
Others are the Secretary to Abia State Government, Barr. Chris Ezem, the Chief of Staff to the Governor of Abia State, Chief Okey Ahiwe, the Head of Service Abia State, Sir. Onyii Wamah, Principal Secretary to the wife of Abia State Governor, Lady Love Ezema; former Commissioner for Boundary and Conflicts Resolution and wife, Chief & Mrs. Obike Imo Mascot; former Commissioner in ASOPADEC, Chief Orji Udeagha, Chief Paul Mba among other prominent dignitaries.
Speaking during the event, Sen. Ohuabunwa noted that the celebrant, “is an all-round gentleman par excellence and a great friend to his family.”
Sen. Ohuabunwa extolled the contributions of Chief Madu towards the development and progress of Umunneochi L.G.A and noted that his sojourn in the political space of Umunneochi as the Executive Chairman will always stand out for appreciation as one of the bests witnessed by the Umunneochi people.
He appreciated the efforts put in place by the Chairman in tackling insecurity in the Local Government Area.
Sen. Ohuabunwa while praying to God to bless Chief Madu with good health, wished him a happy birthday anniversary celebration.
Some of those who spoke at the gathering also showered encomiums on the Council boss.
They described him as a man of integrity and honour.
Responding, the celebrant appreciated God for His divine mercy, grace, love and sound health given to him and thanked the dignitaries who graced the occasion for their solidarity and show of love towards him and his family.
