Veteran Nollywood Actor Emmanuel France Is Dead
A veteran Nigerian actor Emmanuel France is dead.
Popular filmmaker Femi Ogedengbe confirmed his passage via his Instagram page on Monday.
Expressing sadness over the demise of the veteran Nollywood actor, Ogedengbe, recalled their fond memories together.
He wrote: “Rest in peace to one of Nollywood’s legends, Uncle Emmanuel France.
One of the actors I took to Tanzania in 2006. We shot three movies together: She Is My Sister, The Director and Cross My Sin R.I.P.”
The cause of his death remains undisclosed as of the time of this report.
France’s demise came just a few hours after the death of Nollywood actor Big Larry.
Nollywood has lost dozens of practitioners since January 2024, including Mr Ibu, Junior Pope, Sisi Quadri, Ganiyu ‘Ogunjimi‘ Oyeyemi and Amaechi Muonagor, among others.
