Cristiano Ronaldo Gets New Mercedes G63 as Birthday Present From Girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez
Juventus forward Cristiano Ronaldo celebrated his 35th birthday on Wednesday, while his girlfriend decided to surprise him with a new luxury car.
The Portuguese forward headed into Turin for a dinner date with girlfriend Georgina Rodríguez to celebrate the occasion, before being led out into the streets to discover his present.
Rodríguez led Ronaldo to a new Mercedes AMG G63 which had been wrapped up in a giant red bow, while his friends surprised him with confetti cannons.
The Juventus star looked lost for words when he noticed the luxury car, which is worth well over £100,000.
So, for all those wondering what you get the man who has everything, it looks like a brand new Mercedes is the answer. Easy.
Despite turning 35, Ronaldo remains in some of the best form of his life. He has found the back of the net in nine consecutive Serie A games, in which he has managed an incredible return of 14 goals and one assist.
That takes his tally for the season to 19 goals in as many games, which is behind only Lazio’s Ciro Immobile in the race for the Capocannoniere award, and it should come as no surprise that that form has fired Juventus to the top of the Serie A standings.
Manager Maurizio Sarri’s system appears to be getting the best out of Ronaldo, who needs to score in his next three games to shatter the record of 11 consecutive matches which is held by Gabriel Batistuta.
Fabio Quagliarella, who stormed to the top scorer award last year ahead of Ronaldo, also managed 11 consecutive appearances with a goal, although he actually missed a game early in that run.
Juventus are currently on track to win another league title, but Inter are just three points behind in second, so Ronaldo will have to keep scoring to ensure I Bianconeri don’t slip up in the second half of the campaign.
